A Few Words About Who we are
HI, We're Hatteras Insurance. Founded by our principal, Erik Jensen, after spending a decade in the insurance agency and technology consulting business. He still consults today with agency's on best practices for utilizing their management systems and workflows.
As someone who has always been passionate about helping others, Erik never thought of being an insurance agent as a child. Coming from humble roots and an entrepreneurial background Erik knew his next phase of his career would be a combination of his passions. Helping others, technology & business and lastly marine and boating based. After moving to The Villages, Florida nearly two years ago with his partner Patrick and their dog Cody, spending time golfing there and weekends on their boat in St. Augustine, Erik and his partner agreed an insurance agency with a focus on active lifestyle retirees and boating was the right fit.
